CDI Educator

TrustHCS is looking for a CDI Educator.

  • This is a FT, temp-perm, on-site position (Florida).
  • Must hold BSN or RN and must be CCDS credentialed.
  • MUST be ICD-10 certified trainer.
  • MUST HAVE Peds/NICU/PICU experience.

3-5 years management experience with a minimum of 5 years' acute care experience NICU, PICU, PEDS required. 
This person will assist the CDI team in meeting revenue, quality and productivity goals and objectives by identifieing opportunities for continuous quality improvement. 
Communicates and participates in local and regional operational and strategic planning.
Expected to mentor and train all functions and services related to hospital medical coding, documentation, physician queries, abstracting and data collection.
Epic, 3M 360 CDI and reimbursement system and 3M encoder.

 

 

  • Job Requirements:
  • Must hold BSN or RN and must be CCDS credentailed.
  • MUST be ICD-10 certified trainer.
  • MUST HAVE Peds/NICU/PICU experience.
  • 3-5 years management experience with a minimum of 5 years' acute care experience NICU, PICU, PEDS required. 
  • Experience with telecommuting, working with EMRs and other electronic tools.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Works well with numbers.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to work with multiple and diverse clients and projects.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain and access multiple files.
  • Assure that work product is completed with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
